Lawrence Park is located on Yonge Street between Lawrence Avenue & Eglinton Avenue in Toronto. The overall property offers 12,500 square feet of retail space fronting Yonge Street as well as 55 underground parking spaces. Terracap owns and manages the retail and the underground parkade. 2715 Yonge street has 1,698 square feet of retail space and comes with great visibility from a street level. In 1989, Terracap purchased an old Hudson Movers Warehouse: 200 feet (at 50 feet deep) of Yonge Street frontage between Eglinton and Lawrence avenues, for $950,000. Terracap then secured a second block for $10 million through a joint venture partner, just south of the warehouse. With this second addition of 200 by 200 feet, the company rezoned the property into a mixed-use commercial and retail space in one of Toronto’s premier residential neighbourhoods. Terracap’s partner developed and sold the condominium project as part of the joint venture deal, and Terracap retained 12,500 square feet of retail space along Yonge Street, as well as 55 underground parking spaces.
